CAREERS AT BRITT & TILSON GLASS
"A better view, for a greater purpose"
Front Office Coordinator
We are looking for a detail-oriented Front Office Coordinator to join our team. If you are a natural communicator who thrives on building relationships and has a "get it done" attitude, this role is for you.
Core Responsibilities
-
Client Relations & Experience: Act as the primary point of contact for all incoming inquiries, ensuring every customer feels valued and heard from the first hello.
-
Customer Management: Manage client records, follow up on project status, and ensure a seamless journey from the initial lead to the completed service.
-
Entry-Level Sales Support: Identify customer needs during initial consultations, provide basic pricing information, and qualify leads for our senior sales team.
-
Strategic Communication: Handle heavy phone, email, and in-person correspondence with professional flair and clarity.
-
Workflow Optimization: Maintain an organized office environment and look for ways to improve our current administrative and scheduling processes.
What You Bring to the Table
-
Elite Communication Skills: You can turn a frustrated caller into a happy client and explain complex processes in simple, friendly terms.
-
The "Drive to Do More": You aren't satisfied with just checking boxes. You are proactive, take initiative, and want to grow within the company.
-
Adaptability: You can pivot quickly between answering phones, assisting a walk-in customer, and updating sales data without breaking a beat.
-
Tech Savvy: Comfortable with modern CRM tools, scheduling software, and the standard office suite.
-
Professionalism: You carry yourself with confidence and represent the brand with integrity.
Operations Manager
We are looking for a high-impact Operations Manager to serve as the vital link between our front office and our field crews. You will be the "air traffic controller" for our installation projects—ensuring that our customers receive world-class service while our glazing crews have the tools, information, and schedules they need to succeed.
As a member of our leadership team, you must be a "chameleon" in communication: capable of discussing strategy with leadership, reassuring a high-end residential client on a job site, and commanding the respect of a seasoned, "rough-around-the-edges" installation crew.
Core Responsibilities
-
Strategic Logistics: Oversee the master installation schedule, balancing customer deadlines with crew capacity and site readiness.
-
The Hub of Communication: Act as the primary conduit between the sales team and the installers, ensuring every detail of the scope is clearly understood before the truck leaves the shop.
-
Fleet & Asset Management: Maintain oversight of vehicle maintenance, tool inventory, and equipment safety to minimize downtime.
-
Shop & Inventory Flow: Manage the physical shop environment, including the intake of regular-use products and the efficient staging of materials for upcoming jobs.
-
Field Support & Problem Solving: Serve as the first point of contact for installation issues. You’ll troubleshoot technical glazing challenges and manage customer expectations when things don’t go as planned.
-
Leadership & Culture: Drive a culture of accountability, safety, and efficiency. You aren't just managing tasks; you are leading people.
What You Bring to the Table
-
Communication (Professional/Field): You can speak the language of an installation crew with authenticity and authority, but you can instantly pivot to a polished, professional tone for our clients.
-
Logistical Mindset: You enjoy the puzzle of scheduling and can anticipate bottlenecks before they happen.
-
Technical Aptitude: Experience in glazing or a related trade is a major plus. You need to understand the "how" of the installation to effectively manage the "when."
-
Emotional Intelligence: You stay calm under pressure and can de-escalate heated situations, whether they involve a frustrated installer or an anxious homeowner.
-
Initiative: You don't wait for instructions. You see a disorganized shop or a lagging process and you fix it.
